Woman Killed After Car Crashes Into I-95 Concrete Median In Westport

A 43-year-old woman was killed during a single-vehicle crash on I-95 after her vehicle crashed into the concrete median in Fairfield County.

Elizabeth Seda-Flores of Stratford was involved in the crash around 2 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, near Exit 18 northbound in Westport, said the Connecticut State Police.

Investigators say Seda-Flores lost control of her vehicle and struck the concrete barrier in the median before skidding across all three lanes of traffic and striking the metal guardrail.

Police found Seda-Flores, who was not wearing a seatbelt, unresponsive. She was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Westport EMS where she where she succumbed to her injuries around 3:08 a.m., state police said.
